About Kalman

A Lover of Art and Technology

I pride myself in being steeped in the history and traditions of art while keeping abreast of the capabilities of new technology and understanding the latest in social and design trends.  Rigorous training in traditional art forms enhances my design work. Teaching art gives me insight into the creative process.  Curating art exhibitions has also inspired me and kept my finger on the pulse of the art world.

I threw myself into design in order to communicate better as an environmental activist.

I am now taking all types of graphic design jobs, not only environment related. I do not work with a simple formula. I take on each new challenge with the full tool box of creative catalysts. I always do intensive research, brainstorming, sketching as well as rely on loyal friends and discerning online forums to critique my work.
